Exciting Opportunity: Store Manager (Client Hiring)

We are seeking an individual to take charge of ensuring the smooth operation and continued growth of one of our client’s decor stores. This role will involve maintaining high retail and operational standards, managing in-store activities to successfully execute commercial strategies, and fostering the development of your team to help them reach their full potential. Additionally, you will focus on expanding the business within your local community to capture a larger market share.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate your team to perovide exceptional service standards that set the store apart from competitors.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to nurture and develop talent within your team.
• Establish and maintain the right culture, processes, and controls to safeguard the well-being of store staff, customers, and assets.
• Take full ownership of the store’s P&L, drive sales while maximizing margins, improve cost efficiency, and prevent stock and cash losses.
• Ensure every customer is greeted with warmth, provided with knowledgeable service, and offered a personalized proposal during each visit.
• Regularly assess performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement to achieve top-tier business results.

Experience:

• Proven experience in sales/account management.
• A strong understanding of the value in nurturing and motivating teams. 
• Proficient in using retail business systems and software. 
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal abilities.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Monday-Friday 7 AM-5 PM.

Additionally, you will be expected to work occasional Saturday shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, with time off in lieu.

Work Location: Nottingham
