Exciting Opportunity: Cafe Team Member (Client Hiring)

Our client is looking for a café team to make every day better for their customers. As a Team Member, you’ll be involved in cooking, customer service, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. With flexible hours, progression opportunities, and a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, this is an exciting and dynamic role. Responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to the café’s menu, ensuring it meets our high standards. 
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently, and with care, while resolving any complaints and passing information to the Café Manager. 
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, including cleaning utensils and equipment, and sanitising tables regularly. 
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations, keeping daily records, and practicing first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation to ensure fresh food. 
• Accepting deliveries and ensuring the safe storage of food. 
• Staying informed on operational policies, business communications, and new initiatives. 
• Keeping our café’s food products available and ensuring our menu is served exactly as intended. 

Experience:

• A commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service. 
• Confident using your initiative to improve ways of working. 
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards. 
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. 
• Great communicator with a proactive attitude. 
• Comfortable working in a team. 
• Adaptable to working in the buzz of a fast-paced environment. 
• Good at planning and keeping things organised. 
• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
