Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining an organised checkout area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a friendly disposition, making every customer feel valued.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with a friendly greeting and provide assistance in a welcoming manner.
- Handle payments via cash, credit, or debit card while adhering to security protocols.
- Keep the checkout area organized, clean, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Address customer questions and promptly resolve any issues that arise during their visit.
- Offer product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions at the cash register.
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve the overall customer experience.
- Follow company policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and enjoyable shopping environment.
Experience:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and team members.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages, such as Spanish, are highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette to communicate effectively with customers over the phone.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle peak hours.
Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks at once. - Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and processing transactions.
Sales skills to promote products and contribute to store goals.
